Therapy that works with an ADHD brain
Children and teenagers with ADHD often face communication challenges that go beyond attention.
- WHO IT'S FOR
- Children & teenagers
- WHERE
- Clinic, home, school or online
- DIAGNOSIS NEEDED?
- No — just get in touch
- FUNDING
- Private health, Medicare, NDIS
These can include difficulties with conversation turn-taking, staying on topic, organising their thoughts when speaking or writing, and understanding social cues.
Our approach is engaging and dynamic — we work with the ADHD brain, not against it. Sessions are stimulating and purposeful, helping children build the communication and self-expression skills they need to thrive at school, at home and in their relationships.
Signs you might notice
Things families often notice
- iConversations are hard to take turns in
- iiDrifting off topic or losing the thread of a story
- iiiBig ideas, but organising them into speech or writing is hard
- ivMissing social cues with friends or teachers
These are common signs, not a diagnosis. If something here sounds familiar, a chat or an assessment can give you clear answers.
How we help
What we work on together
Conversation skills
Turn-taking, staying on topic and repairing a conversation when it goes off track.
Organising thoughts
Planning and sequencing ideas for speaking and writing — from telling a story to writing an essay.
Social understanding
Reading social cues and adapting how we communicate in different situations.
Questions parents ask
Does my child need a diagnosis first?
No. You're welcome to get in touch with a concern and no diagnosis at all. We'll talk through what you've noticed and suggest the best first step.
Can we claim the cost back?
Often, yes — through private health extras (claimed on the spot in clinic), Medicare with an eligible GP plan, or the NDIS. Our Fees & funding page explains each option.
Every journey starts with a conversation
